Notice 12-23-2025 : IMPORTANT: Notice of Omitted Recycling/Tax Charges on Original Bills Issued - Please be advised that due to an administrative error, the initial property tax bills mailed out in December did not include the Garbage/Recycling charge. Separate invoices will be issued from The Town of New Glarus. They will be mailed January 1st and will be due January 31st. Payment for garbage/recycling will be payable to the Town of New Glarus. Please mail checks to PO Box 448, New Glarus, WI 53574. We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this may cause and appreciate you understanding. The Town of New Glarus is located in Green County, Wisconsin, just south of Dane County where Madison, the State capital, is located. The Town is only 27 miles from downtown Madison and 16 miles from Monroe, Wisconsin, the county seat of Green County. The Town surrounds the Village of New Glarus.
