Election Information

Elections are held at the New Glarus Town Hall - 501 First Street, New Glarus. Polling Hours are 7 AM to 8 PM on the day of election. On Tuesday, May 10, 2023, the Town of New Glarus Board approved the recommendation from the qualified electors present at the 2023 Annual Town Meeting, to end the caucus process for determining Town Board candidates on the Spring ballot in favor of the nomination paper process.

2026 Election Dates:

Spring Primary: February 17, 2026
Spring Election: April 7, 2026
Partisan Primary: August 11, 2026
General Election: November 3, 2026

About the Photo ID Law Photo Id's are required to vote in the State of Wisconsin.

Voter registration is required statewide for all elections. If you are not currently registered to vote or have recently moved, please complete a Voter Registration Application and return form to the Town Clerk's Office. Please be sure to include all the documentation as noted on the instructions for completing the Application.

When completing a voter registration on Election Day you will need to provide your Wisconsin driver’s license number/or state ID number and proof of residency at the polling place.
