The Town of New Glarus park commission is currently in the process of building out our new park called Legacy Prairie Park located off of route 39 on the way out of town.   We have accomplished quite a bit so far with the installation of trails and many acres of prairie restoration.   However, parks are living entities that need good people to help organize events, maintenance efforts, and  guide the future course of how we develop this wonderful natural resource.     

We are currently growing a Friends of New Glarus Parks group to provide that structure and organization needed to help the park flourish.   We have many interested so far, but would like to further build our organization and are looking for both members and leadership minded people to be on our board and help direct future progress and initiatives at the park.    There is no membership fee, just a desire to enjoy and help the park for years to come.
