Per the ruling on January 20, 2022 Waukesha County Circuit Court, the use of drop boxes and after hours mail slots are no longer allowed for the return of Absentee Ballot Certification envelopes containing voted ballots.  This decision was recently upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.  Those ballots sealed in certification envelopes can still be returned to the Clerk during regular office hours by the elector (no return by parent/spouse/significant other unless that voter is indefinitely confined) or by mail.  Please leave a voicemail if you have concerns about the timely return of your ballot: (608) 527-2390.
