Town of New Glarus Board Adopts a Policy to Deny or Revoke an Operator’s License: Town of New GlarusGreen County, WisconsinNotice of Ordinance Adoption The Town of New Glarus Board, Green County, Wisconsin, at a duly noticed meeting held on January 11, 2023, adopted Ordinance 2023-01, An Ordinance to Establish a Town Board Policy when Denying or Revoking an Operator License. The Ordinance became effective upon enactment. In summary, the Ordinance states that by the authority granted by §125.12 Wis. Stats., the Town has the authority to deny an application for Operator’s License or revoke an Operator’s License that has been issued if an applicant or licensee is or has been convicted of certain offenses substantially related to the licensed activity, if the applicant or licensee provided false or misleading information or failed to disclose relevant information. If the Town of New Glarus Board takes action to deny issuance or to revoke an Operator’s License, the applicant or licensee will be notified, in writing, of the decision and will be informed of their right to petition the Board to reconsider their action and/or contest the decision in Circuit Court.
