2024 Ad for Clerk-Treasurer position

The Town of New Glarus is currently accepting applications for the Clerk-Treasurer position. The selected candidate will be responsible for the statutory duties of the position including the management of elections, Board of Review, budgeting, accounts receivable and accounts payable (QuickBooks Online experience preferred), and licenses and permits. The Clerk-Treasurer acts as a key liaison between the Town Board/Commissions/Committees, County Treasurer, County Clerk, the Wisconsin Elections Commission, employees, and residents. Previous experience in municipal government is preferred. The Clerk-Treasurer supervises the work of the Deputy Clerk-Treasurer. Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a 58%-80% position with full benefits.
