On May 4, 2004 The Village of New Glarus adopted Ordinance No. 04-04; An interim zoning ordinance to preserve existing town zoning within the Village of New Glarus extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction in the Town of Exeter and Town of New Glarus. As a result, a Joint Extraterritorial Zoning Committee was established and will operate under the provisions of Section 62.23, Wisconsin Statues.
